Creative Chemstiry 102: Alcohol Ink Monoprint

This technique used the gold metallic mixative of alcohol inks to create a background.  This works a lot like the Wrinkle Free Distress technique.  The metallic mixative and various colors of alcohol inks are applied to the craft sheet and a piece of Alcohol Ink Paper is swiped through the inks to create this background.  I was shooting for a fall like color.  Unfortunately, I'm thinking the coloring wasn't bright enough to make the piece super interesting, but it works nonetheless.  The leaves were stamped on using Archival Brown ink.  Makes a lovely background, don't you think?

Thank you so much for your kind words. Isn't it fun to encourage one another, even from a distance?
